About this blog

As I approach that time in the life-cycle known as “the Golden years” I have decided that I’d like to just muse and comment on a broad range of topics. I’d like to economize my remaining day by accomplishing several goals simultaneously.

I am deeply concerned about the survivability of western civilization and the Judeo-Christian heritage specifically. I have committed my life to battling the rise of biblical illiteracy within the church-at-large and the broader culture, which has contributed to the deterioration of our heritage.

I want to continue addressing these issue (apologetically) by using biblical archaeological evidences and other common sense approaches to highlight the historical reliability, trustworthness, and accuracy of the Hebrew Bible and the Christian Scriptures.

  1. It’s very good to hear from you again!! We are still residing on “Mt. Jewell” on top of DoubleKnob Mountain and continue to deeply love our Lord Jesus and serve Him whenever and wherever we are. Larry and Lola – Thursday, November 13, 2008 @ 11:30am.

  3. Hello Dr. Bez!

  4. Doc. I am with you on your concerns. I am going screaming and kicking into my Golden Years, born 1948 also. “Marketplace Witness International” has yet to get up enough ground speed to make lift off and soaring a reality. I do believe that the concept is still valid and with the focus by a subgroup of todays youth on evangelism, possibly it will be a tool for the up and comming generation. The 60’s brats sowed to the wind and I am afraid we are certainly reaping the wirlwind. I’ll be calling you in the next day or two to get some info. on one of our class mates who was designing a ministry for inner city youth. I have lost contact and need to see if you can help me restablish same. Want to get by the museum some time soon. Have had erratic success at making a living or should I say making tents. Give my regards to your bride. Jon
